Bring It Home Prayers | Day Two

A Prayer for the Lost

Lord Jesus,

I thank you for your grace, your mercy and for bringing me into a relationship with you. I thank you for the way you have provided for me and the blessings you have poured out on my life.

Today I ask that you give me a heart that loves, cares for, and is soft towards those who don’t know you as Lord. I pray for the people in my life who are seeking for the things of the world to gratify and fulfill what only you can.

Lord, I pray that you would bring them into a relationship with yourself by opening their eyes to the truth that you are the one, true God and that you are good. And that in your goodness, you made a way for us to enter in to your Holy Presence for all of eternity by sending your Son to pay the penalty for our sins.

Lord, I pray that you put people in my path that need your love, grace and mercy. And though I may not feel equipped, I may not know everything there is to know, I trust that you will give me everything I need to share your love with those who need it when that moment comes.

Lord, would you embolden me through your Holy Spirit to do your work in this world and guide my steps according to your will. I rejoice that all wisdom and truth come from you and may it flow through me into the lives of the people you have put around me.

Glory, honor and praise to you and you alone.

Amen.
