Behold Lyric Study

In November, our New River Worship team released their first single, “Behold.”

The lyrics of this song are deeply rooted in scripture and we wanted to provide a guide for you to see exactly where in the Bible these lyrics derive.

We believe it’s important for you to know why you are singing what you are singing. It’s not just someone’s opinion of who God is or what Jesus has done, it is truth. It is fact. It is directly from the written Word of God.

May the biblical truths of this song encourage your heart this Christmas.

As you sing these truths to yourself, over your children, through your struggles, or maybe even in spite of your doubt, may the Holy Spirit strengthen your faith and comfort your soul.

May we always behold the Lamb of God.
